Marcelus

If there is one French techno artist that shine by his discretion it’s Marcelus, the 30 years old artists work hard and continually shows impressive feats of arm for six years now. In 2010, Cedric Bros, emerged from nowhere thanks to Dj Deep, after two Ep, the young producer was on the map. He released on imprints such as Re.Pitch or Tresor with who he forged very strong links, he worked with MDR and remixed producers such as Trus’Me or Ben Sims. Three years ago he launched Singular records revealing artists such as Claudia Anderson or pushing forward artists such as The Parallèle or more recently the young Schlomo. Productive and meticulous as a producer, Marcelus is also very talented as a DJ. Benefitting from a vast background when it comes to techno history and solid technique when it comes to work a crowd. Hyperactive, Marcelus is Chef during the day and produce music and do gigs on his spare time. He just finished his first Album. The Phonocast illustrates well these few lines, and the selection speaks for itself. Good listening!
