John Osborn appartient à ces Djs capables de jouer plus “deep” que Deep et de passer sans aucun problème à des sonorités plus violentes. Grace à cette large palette de styles et à un univers musical dubby et mental, John n’est pas le genre de Dj qui vous laissera l’opportunité de vous prélasser sur le dance floor ou de checker vos emails sur votre smartphone. Installé depuis presque 15 ans à Berlin, le co-fondateur de Tanstaafl est célèbre en tant que résident des feux soirées Sub:Stance au Panorama Bar ou encore pour les “label nights” de sa structure au Tresor. October et Mr Osborn viennent tout juste de créer un sous label à leur maison mère baptisé Tanstaafl Planets et sera dédié aux sorties de leur cercle d’amis. Cette extension prend place conjointement à l’arrivée d’Eric Cloutier au sein de l’équipe. La première sortie sera de KEL également connu en tant qu’Elias Landberg membre du collectif suédois Skudge. Récemment, notre homme a sorti un hommage à l’Acid intitulé « All Night Long » dans le coffret Sub:Stance, et dévoilera bientôt de nouveaux morceaux sur Tanstaafl. Ce Phonocast est très deep et fini de manière assez mélodique.

John Osborn, belongs to those Djs who are able to play deeper than Deep and to switch without any troubles to heavier flavors. Thanks to his wide range of styles and a dubby and mental signature, John is the kind of Dj who won’t give you the time to lay down on the dance floor or to check your email on your smartphone. Settled in Berlin for almost 15 years now, the co-founder of Tanstaafl is well known as resident of the late Sub:Stance parties at the famous Panorama Bar, burning the dance floor alongside his brother in arms Scuba, or with his label nights at Tresor.  October and Mr Osborn just created a sub-label to their mother structure. Tanstaafl Planets will be dedicated to the releases of their close circle of friends. This extension was made conjointly to arrival of Eric Cloutier in the team. The first release will be from KEL also known as Elias Landberg part of the Swedish crew Skudge. Recently, our man released an Acid tribute on the Sub:Stance Box Set titled “All Night Long”  and will also release production soon on the Tanstaafl entities. This Phonocast is very deep and mental, it end in  melodic way.
