Swalk is the kind of active person with a biological clock not adapted for a daily desktop routine. Half part of the duo Bernadott with « Samo Dj » (L.I.E.S.), solo producer , record store manager and selecta at DDD or journalist, the young man seems to be polyvalent. Tall with gangly posture but feeling allright with the world, this producer has a lot of upcoming projects for labels such as Clone, Skudge and several French imprints.  He belongs to the artists to keep an eye on, for 2013.

If we had to comment this mix, the first thing we obviously could compare with would be the national Mexican meal. Indeed, the Molé is a dish made with chicken, chocolate, chilli, and fried rice. Like this famous meal, Swalk’s Phonocast is rich as for the numerous elements mixed together for the coherence of its construction. The difficulty of this kind of mix is to find a narrative process tying all the influences in a whole; the result appears to be pretty conclusive. The technicians will say that the mix has some discrepancies, we would answer to us that  some sets are adjusted with some little creakings but if the emotion is there, the essential is reached.
