En 1995, «  The Deep Transportation Vol.1 » sortait sur Harmonie Park, le label de Rick Wade. Cette Ep donna le nom du label de Mike Huckaby, Deep Transportation. Durant ses 18 ans de carrières, cet activiste n’a jamais cessé de produire, avec un rythme lent certes, mais toujours avec un souci de qualité. En tant que féru de nouvelles technologies, M. Huckaby donne des workshops dans le monde entier dans lesquels il enseigne l’usage d’Ableton et des produits Native Instrument. Très engagé dans la scène House de Détroit, Mike Huckaby a également pris part au projet philantropique Youthville, dans lequel il enseigne aux enfant à se servir de machines. Nous l’avons sélectionné en tant qu’artiste de l’année 2012 pour ses 2 Ep’s  magiques sortis sur Tresor et son sous label SYNTH, mais également pour le soin particulier qu’il a de partager ses connaissances et sa musique. En tant que premier Phonocast de l’année Mike Huckaby inaugure 2013 avec un mix génial de 90 min sonnant vraiment deep, smooth et raffiné. Bonne écoute!

In 1995, « The Deep Transportation Vol.1 » was released on Harmonie Park, Rick Wade’s label. This Ep gave the name to Mike Huckaby’s imprint, Deep Transportation. During his 18 years of career, this activist has never stopped to produce, with a slow rhythm but always with a concern of quality. Indeed, each piece of his discography never looks a day older. This rhythm could be also explained by his other projects. As new technology addict Mr Huckaby is doing workshops all over the world teaching how to use programs like Ableton or Native Instrument products. Deeply involved in the House scene of Detroit, Mike Huckaby is also taking part in the philanthropic Youthville project, where he teachs children how to make music with machines.  We selected him as one of the artists of the year in 2012 for his awesome Ep’s on Tresor and his sublabel Synth, but also for taking care to share his knowledge and his music. As the first Phonocast of the year, Mike Huckaby opens 2013 with a 90 min’s awesome mix, which sounds really deep, smooth and sophisticated.
