Deniro pourrait être un nom familier, mais pas lorsqu’il s’agit de techno. Reynier Hooft Van Huisduijnen, de son vrai nom, gère avec Instellarfunk le label Tape Amsterdam depuis maintenant plus de deux ans. Un label qui s’astreint à sortir une techno trippée mettant au premier rang du sang neuf. Depuis quelques mois, Phonographe Corp s’est pris d’intérêt pour l’artiste amstellodamois de par ses Eps ainsi que pour ses différentes apparitions sur les samplers sur son label ainsi que sur трип (Trip), le label de Nina Kraviz. En tant que producteur, son travail fait la part belle aux synthétiseurs aériens que l’on peut retrouver en dub techno. Il dénote également un gout certain pour la techno de Détroit. Reynier Hooft Van Huisduijnen, from his real name, co-runs Tape Amsterdam with his mate Interstellar Funk for more than two years now. An imprint that put forward interesting techno trippy releases and first and foremost giving a wider audience to new names. It had been few months he caught our attention with his three Eps on, his appearances on Tape’s samplers and Nina Kraviz’s structure трип. So far his work as producer seems to give a lot of importance to aerial synthesizers with dub techno inspiration and probably expresses some interest about the motor city musical legacy.
